I would like to warmly invite everyone to attend a two-day online event, hosted by WinTrade Global Talks, on the 14th-15th of July 2021.
I came across them early last year, and I am constantly amazed by how incredibly beneficial their events are for me. Yvonne & Cydnie Thompson have a very special mix of high competence and a warm human touch, which is tangible in everything they do; and, even more rare, they have the experience needed to have created a platform that genuinely delivers professional insights and emotional support.
WinTrade is an association led by women for women, so this invitation is particularly applicable to women. However, I would recommend that men also give it some genuine attention. I have spent the majority of my professional experience in men-abundant offices and I was raised by a father who made me believe that no difference exists between the genders. Having gone through four pregnancies – some partial – I feel confident in saying that there is a difference in the way men and women lead and how they face difficulty. Women have adapted to men’s ways; perhaps it is time that men get acquainted with women’s approaches.
We have just published a report that takes a long look at the digital transition, and what emerged from our research was a very clear signal that women are right at the epicentre of this economic and social change. I believe that Wintrade is a positive catalyst behind this transition.
